XYZ Industries is a fictional demo company created to explore a simple idea: planetary stays should feel like living, not camping in costume. Our product line, Outpost Kits, bundles Shelter, Travel, Kitchen, Downtime, Play, and Signal into coherent systems named Scout, Ridge, and Colony.
What we make
Outpost Kits are B2C planetary stay kits—catalog products for people imagining a life between landings. We care about:
- Architecture-first Shelter (including Airlock Ring & Storm Shell)
- Kitchen routines centered on Life Stack
- Signal that stays neighborly (Uplink Mast and soft terminals)
- Downtime and Play that respect thin walls and shared sleep
Tone stays light-professional and warm. We avoid survival bravado, gaming swagger, and mil-speak.
How we think about a stay
A stay has a rhythm: arrive, make a door, cook, rest, reconnect, play a little, sleep. Categories follow that rhythm so shopping and configuring feel intuitive. Kits differ by footprint and duration, not by “leveling up” into aggression.

The kits board
Scout, Ridge, and Colony appear throughout the site as an architectural kit board—three calm columns, one shared language. Most visitors start with Ridge; Scout and Colony are the lighter and fuller neighbors.

We publish short field notes on packing, quiet rooms, kitchens, Signal etiquette, domes, travel days, play, and choosing a kit. The journal is part of the brand voice—practical, warm, and lightly speculative without meme irony.
